You may wonder what is Gateway Institute? Gateway Institute is missionary training centre, focuses on equipping lay people to become effective worker for God, founded by Gateway Adventist Centre (GAC). You may wonder, what is Gateway Adventist Centre?
Gateway Adventist Centre has truly been a labour of love and faith that was built from ground up with a group of young and not so young people, having a vision from God to start a church plant right in the heart of the city in Melbourne, Australia, in 2000.
Since then, Gateway has grown and become one of the fastest growing churches in Australia, established 4 churches (Gateway City, East, South and Lighthouse) and a new church plant (Locus); with over 200 baptisms and a 90% retention rate of the baptised members. This is out of the norm for churches in contemporary, secular, post-modern cities in the Western world.
From the very beginning, Gateway has been an outreach centre, a training hub and a church planting movement. With years of experience navigating through the road less travelled with Jesus, we believe is time to share with the world the comprehensive model God has led Gateway to establish and continue to grow, with a structured and effective platform of Gateway Institute.
